William "Bill" Claude Dickinson, 75, of Hope Hull, AL, passed away on May 13, 2017.
He was born on July 10, 1941 in Birmingham AL. In 1959 he graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School in Birmingham, followed by a four year service in the Navy. Bill was self-employed in the manufactured housing industry, both in sales and transport. His hobbies included bowling, hunting, fishing, golf, Alabama football, and trips anywhere near a casino. William "Bill" Claude Dickinson, 75, of Hope Hull, AL, passed away on May 13, 2017.
He was born on July 10, 1941 in Birmingham AL. In 1959 he graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School in Birmingham, followed by a four year service in the Navy. Bill was self-employed in the manufactured housing industry, both in sales and transport. His hobbies included bowling, hunting, fishing, golf, Alabama football, and trips anywhere near a casino. Bill also enjoyed any NASCAR race with Dale Earnhardt Sr, loved a great football party or summer party around the pool at his home with family and friends, finally getting a 300 game, and maintaining his land.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Beth Hood Dickinson; his father, Bill Dickinson Sr.; and mother, Evelyn Bedoni Guthrie.

He is survived by his daughter, Terri Dickinson; son, Stacy Dickinson (Laura); grandchildren, Marcela, Jacob, Ashley, and Emma; brother-in-law, Max Godsey; along with Nieces and Nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Saturday May 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. The family will the receive guests at 340 Lamar Road in Hope Hull, immediately following the service.
