Emma Lee Donaldson born September 29, 1913, died October 9, 2016. She was the daughter of Alexander Hafner and Emma L. Holston. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Montevallo University and Master's Degree from Alabama Polytechnics Institute. She was a member of Kappa Delta Pi and Phi Kappa Phi. Emma Lee worked many years as a teacher in the Montgomery school system and later became a business owner. She was a 70 year member of the Capital Heights Baptist Church and often the teacher of the Adelphia Sunday School Class. Her other affiliations were Liberty...

Emma Lee Donaldson born September 29, 1913, died October 9, 2016. She was the daughter of Alexander Hafner and Emma L. Holston. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Montevallo University and Master's Degree from Alabama Polytechnics Institute. She was a member of Kappa Delta Pi and Phi Kappa Phi. Emma Lee worked many years as a teacher in the Montgomery school system and later became a business owner. She was a 70 year member of the Capital Heights Baptist Church and often the teacher of the Adelphia Sunday School Class. Her other affiliations were Liberty Chapter of the Eastern Star, Montgomery Bridge Club, Soroptimist international, Co-founder and member of the Good Sam's Camping Club (1976), Co-founder of the +60 Golfers Association (1977).
Emma was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cecil Theo Donaldson; they were married on June 28, 1936. Also deceased are step-daughter, Dorothy Fardham and step-son, Cecil Theo Donaldson, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Harper (Oscar) and son, Allen Donaldson (Kay). She also has numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews of which she loved dearly
Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery for a graveside service Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 10:00am with Leak Memory Chapel directing.
